Autographed Portrayals of Sherlock Holmes

A few years ago, I was able to obtain many autographs of actors who had portrayed Sherlock Holmes -- the autographs were graciously provided by Howard Ostrom, who has studied Sherlock Holmes's portrayals for years and is considered one of the greatest authorities on the subject. This addition doubled my previous collection.

Since then, I have been adding to the collection of autographs of those who have portrayed Sherlock Holmes in film, television, radio, stage, and a few miscellaneous purposes.  Here are photos of all the ones I have to this point... will continue adding to the website as I add autographs.

I did have to 'enlarge' or 'digitally enhance' several of the autographs so they would show up on this platform... when a signature with black ink is signed on a dark background, or the entire signature is less than 1" in length, they do not show up well on a screen... don't worry -- the original signature is still in an unaltered state...

Thanks to Howard for always being there to answer questions, and to all of you who have so graciously provided your own autograph to the collection.
