The Cleburne, Texas library is conducting a Sherlock Holmes Film series, presenting the first three episodes of the BBS Sherlock television series. The first episode was shown on January 26, with a discussion around Conan Doyle and the history of Sherlock Holmes.
The next viewing will be on Thursday, February 23, at 6:00 p.m. with the showing of episode two. “The Blind Banker,” involves a mysterious cipher scrawled on the walls around London. The first person to see the cipher is dead within hours of reading it. Sherlock plunges into a world of codes and symbols, consulting with London's best graffiti artists. He soon learns that the city is in the grip a gang of international smugglers, a secret society called the Black Lotus.
Steve Mason of the Crew will conduct a presentation on the World of Sherlock Holmes, as well as information on our society.
